This Privacy Policy explains how Reach Media Inc. (“we”, “us”, “our”), an Alberta corporation operating under the trading name Reach Screens, collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information. It applies to reachscreens.ca, our forms, our phone line, and our messaging services.

Information we collect
- Contact details you give us — name, business name, phone number, email address, and service address.
- Enquiry details — what you asked about, appointment times, and messages you send us.
- Call information — when you phone us, including recordings or transcripts where we tell you a call is recorded.
- Website usage data — pages visited and referring source, collected through standard analytics.
How we use your information
- To answer your enquiry and provide the services you asked for.
- To book, confirm, and remind you about appointments.
- To send account, billing, and service notifications.
- To send promotional messages, where you have separately consented.
- To meet our legal and regulatory obligations.
SMS and text messaging
We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number or SMS consent with any third party for their own marketing purposes. Mobile information and SMS opt-in data are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing. We share phone numbers only with the messaging providers that deliver our texts on our behalf, and only so the message can be sent to you.
We send text messages only to people who have given us their phone number and consented to be contacted — either by ticking a consent box on one of our forms, or by giving us the number over the phone after being told they may receive text messages.
We collect consent for two message types separately, and neither is required to do business with us:
- Transactional messages — appointment confirmations and reminders, replies to your enquiries, onboarding steps, account, billing, and service notifications.
- Marketing messages — offers, promotions, and related updates.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out of further messages, or HELP for assistance. You can also email info@reachscreens.ca to be removed. Opting out of marketing messages does not stop essential transactional messages about a service you are actively receiving.
Google user data
Some Reach Screens services manage a client's Google Business Profile on their behalf. This section explains exactly what Google user data we access, why, and how you stop it. It applies only if you choose to connect a Google account to Reach Screens.
What we access. When you connect your Google account, Google shows you its own
consent screen and you authorise us explicitly. We request a single permission,
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/business.manage, which lets us read and manage the
Google Business Profiles you own or manage. Through it we may access your business listing details
such as business name, address, service area, phone number, website, opening hours, categories,
photos, posts, questions and answers, reviews, and the profile performance metrics Google reports.
We also receive your basic Google account identifier so we can associate the connection with your
Reach Screens account.
How we use it. Only to provide the service you asked for: showing your profile information inside your Reach Screens dashboard, keeping listing details accurate, publishing posts and photos, responding to reviews and questions where you have asked us to, and reporting on how the profile is performing. We act on your instructions and on the instructions of staff you authorise.
What we never do. We do not sell your Google user data. We do not use it for advertising, and we do not use it to build or improve generalised artificial intelligence or machine learning models. We do not let humans read it, except where you have specifically asked us to, where it is necessary for security purposes such as investigating abuse, or where we are required to by law. We do not transfer it to anyone else, other than the service providers that host and operate the Reach Screens platform for us, and only to the extent needed to run the service on your behalf.
Reach Screens' use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
How to revoke access. You can disconnect your Google account from your Reach Screens dashboard at any time. You can also revoke our access directly from Google at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which works whether or not you still have a Reach Screens account. Once access is revoked we stop accessing your Google user data immediately and delete any of it we have stored within 30 days, except where we are legally required to keep a record. To request deletion sooner, email info@reachscreens.ca.
Who we share information with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us operate — such as our CRM, telephony and SMS delivery providers, payment processor, and email provider — and only to the extent needed to perform that service for us. We require them to protect your information and not use it for their own purposes. We may also disclose information where required by law.
We do not sell your personal information.
How long we keep it
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our services and to meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements, then delete or anonymise it.
How we protect it
We use reputable service providers, restrict access to those who need it, and rely on encrypted connections for data in transit. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps appropriate to the sensitivity of the information.
Your choices and rights
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent at any time, by emailing info@reachscreens.ca. We handle personal information in accordance with Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable Alberta privacy legislation.
Children
Our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The “last updated” date above will change when we do.
